This handmade Moroccan rug is adorable. It has the sweetest colors, and I can totally imagine it in a nursery—it would be perfect! It’s made from cotton waste from clothing factories. Can you believe it? From fast fashion to the cutest rug! So cool, right?

It’s super easy to maintain and is machine washable (yes!). This rug combines two weaving techniques: a mix between a flat weave and a hand-knotted boucherouite rug.

SUSTAINABILITY: Our rugs are handmade by a group of women who work together to make each rug. They are called Boucherouite rugs and are made of cotton fabric scraps left over from clothing factories. Isn’t that such an amazing way to recycle fast-fashion textiles?

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine washable:
— COLD water, delicate or express cycle. Avoid leaving it wet in the machine.
— Tumble dry or hang to dry
* If your washing machine isn’t big enough, try your local Laundromat. Most of them have industrial-sized machines.
