Our Baba Souk designs are made locally here in Montreal, Canada and are designed by us & our talented collaborators. Our imported products are great handcrafted finds. We visit traditional souks which are colorful Moroccan markets filled with colors and gorgeous handmade creations. We hand-pick the best treasures we can find and bring them back for you. We also like to encourage great designers from all over the world by showcasing them on our online shop. It is our way of promoting creativity and independent design. We wish to inspire you, to stir your creativity and to make you travel even if you’re at home!


When and how can I order?

You can order via our website any time of the day, 7 days a week. We confirm all orders by email within 24 hours. If after 24 hours, you did not receive an email confirmation, please check your spam box. Our email might end up there, as some email boxes are more sensitive than others. General business hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (EDT local time). Emails are often checked outside business hours and responded to promptly. Feel free to contact us about any questions you may have. Your order will be shipped from Montreal, Canada by Canada Post services within the next 48 hours of your order placement. We will let you know by email once your purchase is on its way.


All our online payments are processed securely through PayPal. We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), debit cards or direct PayPal payments. Please note that you do NOT have to have a PayPal account to make a payment with a credit or debit card. Once you hit the Purchase button on our site, you will be redirected to Paypal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can click on the link “Don’t have a PayPal account (located below the yellow button) and you will still be able to place your order. -Can I still buy from your website if I don’t have a PayPal account? Yes! Paypal offers you that option. You can pay with your credit card. You just have to click on “don’t have a PayPal account” at the bottom of the PayPal form. (Located below the yellow button) -Why does checkout direct me to PayPal when I want to pay with a credit card? All our online payments are processed securely through PayPal but you do NOT need a PayPal account to pay. Once you click on “Purchase”, PayPal will allow you to choose to pay with your credit card. You just have to click on “don’t have a PayPal account” at the bottom of the PayPal form, below the yellow button. Your order will be shipped once full payment is received.


All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. You can change the currency using the “Currency Chooser” scroll down menu, located on the bottom left of the product page. Currency conversion is provided by Google and is approximate. Rates are updated daily. All prices will be charged in Canadian dollars and the final exchange rate and any exchange fees are governed by PayPal or your Credit Card company.


Canada: Taxes for your particular province will apply. The tax amount charged will be visible during checkout prior to making your purchase. USA: THERE ARE NO SALES TAXES FOR USA ORDERS! (you guys are so lucky! Enjoy!)

Shipping to Canada & USA:

The shipping cost will be clearly listed at checkout and on your final invoice before your order is placed. During checkout, you will be able to select the kind of shipping services you want, standard shipping or express shipping. We use Canada Post services and we always offer you the best shipping rates possible. Orders shipping to Canada using standard shipping usually take 3-7 business days to arrive on your doorstep. Orders shipping to the United States with standard shipping usually take 4-10 business days to arrive on your doorstep.

Express shipping: If ever you need your item faster, you can choose express services during checkout. Express services provide shipping within 2 business days mostly everywhere within Canada and 2-4 days within the United States. Please keep in mind we have 48h to ship your order. In most cases, we will ship it within 24h. Feel free to contact us about any questions you may have prior placing your order.

Custom fees for USA orders:

Please note that additional duties and taxes assessed by customs are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! We are happy to ship both domestic and international orders. Please email us the items you wish to purchase and your international shipping address. We will provide a shipping quotation prior to proceeding with your order. When you approve, we will send an easy email invoice, payable online through PayPal. Orders shipping to international destinations may take longer to ship. However, we will provide an accurate shipment expected date by email once you make your purchase. For international orders, please note that additional duties and taxes assessed by customs are the responsibility of the customer.

We are happy to offer complimentary standard shipping on all $100+ orders going to Canada and the USA. Your order must be $100+ before shipping costs and taxes in order to be eligible for free shipping. Sorry, international orders are NOT eligible. *Please note that all items featured in the “The Baba Art Gallery” are NOT eligible for free shipping.

By subscribing to our newsletter, you will receive a free shipping coupon code. To get this code, you need to check your email box and confirm your subscription. After you confirm your subscription, you will receive the shipping code immediately by email. Then, you will be able to enter this coupon code in our checkout form and enjoy your discount. *Only 1 coupon code per postal address. Standard shipping only.

Do you offer gift-wrapping?

All our items are beautifully wrapped for FREE! Even if it is not a gift, it is still a gift for you! If you would like a gift to be shipped to a different address than your own, just enter the recipient’s address in the ‘Shipping Address’ area at checkout. Check the YES box at the question “Is this a gift”. Rest assured that we will not include the invoice with your gift. It will be sent to you by email. You can even leave us a note in the checkout form and let us know what you would like us to write on the gift tag! We will happily write a little note for you! We are always open for special requests! If ever you have one, just email us and let us know! We will do our best to please you! (We love making people happy!)

Returns & Refunds

If you’re not happy, we’re not happy! We aim to please, so if you’re not completely pleased with your order, we’ll do whatever we can to make it better! If you would like to return your purchase, please contact us by email within 14 days of receiving your order. Please return undamaged merchandise to us within 30 days for a full refund. Send your purchase back, securely packed to: Baba Souk 3889 Joseph Street, Montreal, Quebec, H4G 1J3, Canada.

After we receive your returned item, you will receive a complete refund through PayPal. We will email you when we process your return!

Damaged goods

Please note that we take great care in packaging and items rarely arrive damaged. But if any of your items do arrive damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will either refund your purchase price or send you replacement items for free.

Where are these products made?

Our Baba Souk products are designed locally by our team of great designers. We produce our items in Montreal, Canada. Please visit our “Baba who?” section to learn more about us. Designer collaboration These products are hand picked from great independent designers we wish to showcase. Every product made by other designers is clearly identified in the product description, which includes the designer’s name. The “made in” location varies from one designer to the other. It is clearly mentioned in the product description, which is visible when you click on a specific item. Importation Our imported products are all made by hand by talented craftspeople. For the time being, we mostly carry handmade products from Morocco. These products come from the souks, which are typical colorful markets.
